Overview
Starting pay (based on experience): $22.00 per hour
Our community is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Dining Room Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily dining room operations and lead our wait staff team. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily dining room operations and meal service
- Hire, train, schedule, and coach dining room staff
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction
- Oversee dining room setup, tray service, and meal attendance
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor linen inventory and menu distribution
- Participate in resident food committee meetings and staff training
- Assist with other food service duties as assigned
- Must work every other weekend; hours from 10:30am to 7pm
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in dining services, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position
