Overview
Life Enrichment Assistants bring meaningful programming and excitement to the lives of our residents. These individuals work to develop and implement activities and entertainment that will enrich the daily lives of residents. Under the supervision of the Life Enrichment Director, Life Enrichment Assistants offer a variety of interesting events to engage and connect seniors with our team, each other, and the greater community. The right person for this role enjoys fostering relationships, helping others, and encouraging self-esteem and self-worth.
Hours M-T 10:30am- 7:00pm W- F 8:30am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Help set up and prepare for activities, this includes furniture arrangement,
- props, music, etc.
- Get to know residents personally
- Maintain attendance at programs and record data in resident insights platform
- Meet with the Life Enrichment Director to evaluate activity program effectiveness
- Escort residents to activities
- Promote self-esteem and self- worth.
- Provide one-on-one activities to room-bound residents
- Interact and communicate well with residents, family members, and guests
- Ability to safely operate community vehicle
- Monday – Friday 10:30am to 7:00pm
- Rotating weekends (about every 6 weeks)
- Other tasks as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
Memory Care experience preferred
