Our Lady of Hope Celebrates 30 Years!

Residents, families, team members, Board members, and friends gathered together in October to commemorate three decades of cherished memories, meaningful friendships, and compassionate service in the Richmond community.  What a wonderful way to celebrate 30 years of Our Lady of Hope!

We were honored to welcome The Most Reverend Barry C. Knestout, Bishop of Richmond, who offered a special prayer and blessing. Bishop Knestout shared the origins and significance of Our Lady of Hope, who symbolizes divine comfort, trust, and the assurance of God’s compassion during times of crisis. The Our Lady of Hope team embodies the hope that is at the heart of our community and our service to residents and families.

The evening also included reflections from Board President Ellen M. Stoops, CSM Senior Living Management Chairman Emeritus Robert McNichols, and President Denise White.

One of the most meaningful moments was honoring our longest-tenured residents and team members—the people and relationships who truly make Our Lady of Hope feel like home. Executive Director Annemarie Neville and Life Enrichment Director Katie Carter celebrated each honoree with a touching personal tribute and a special gift.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the Our Lady of Hope story. Cheers to 30 wonderful years—and to many more memories still to come!
