Our Lady of Hope Rehab Graduate Tells Her WWII Story
The residents and team members at Our Lady of Hope were excited to see one of their own — a Hope rehabilitation “graduate” — featured locally on WTVR News.
Halina Zimm, who recently completed therapy at Our Lady of Hope, is a Richmond resident with an amazing personal history. She was interviewed by Greg McQuade for his special “I Have A Story” feature. Halina, who was born in Poland and is Jewish, hid from the Nazis during WWII — first with her parents and sisters and then by herself, hiding in plain sight under another identity.
